BRIDGET GREGORY RUDIGER
Trainer and Manager
Bridget Rudiger, trainer and manager of Perfect Fit Farm, has been involved in the equestrian community since early childhood and her pursuit for excellence is evidenced by her many accomplishments. Bridget started riding at age 5 and was first trained by local professionals, gaining multi-discipline experience in hunters, jumpers, equitation and foxhunting in her early years. She was active in Pony Club, achieving her C2 certification. Bridget later went on to train with certified USHJA Level 1 Trainer Carolyn Krome of Persimmon Tree Farm and Kenny Krome of K2 Show Stables in Maryland. Bridget has shown and qualified for The USHJA Zone 2 Finals as both a child and an adult and has qualified and competed at the Pennsylvania National and Washington International Horse Shows.
After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2015 with a B.S. in Public Health and Science, Bridget turned professional and continued her education as a
working student for Olympic Silver Medalist Peter Leone and Nikko Ritter. Bridget has attended and ridden in numerous clinics and has sought out instruction from experts such as George Morris, Frank Madden, Louise Serio and Devin Ryan.
Growing up riding and showing green ponies and horses, Bridget has become well-respected for her ability to train young horses and ponies. She brings her horses and ponies long slowly and correctly with confidence and patience, preparing them for successful hunter careers. Bridget excels in both developing young horses and retraining horses who have had inconsistencies in previous work. Bridget is a popular guest clinician and enjoys working collaboratively with her fellow trainers. Bridget also has experience in travelling to Europe to import horses and maintains connections to breeders and trainers in Germany.
